Bring your abolitionist curiosity and herbal questions to our open hours on Tuesdays from 4-7pm at the John Thompson Legacy Center (1212 St. Bernard Ave).

Each week, our herbalist Nettle will introduce visitors to the plants in the Abolitionist’s Apothecary, and share tips on making medicines and finding the right herbal remedies for whatever ails you— all while grounding us in the ways that plants can point us to abolitionist practices and ways of being.

These gatherings are open to the herbal-curious, those new to abolition, experts, and everyone in between. Can’t wait to see you there!
